Mission |
|
The
Christian Medical Fellowship Health Center is a
nonprofit-nondenominational organization that seeks
to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ by providing
access to affordable, holistic and quality health
care services including education for prevention of
disease while assisting patients with disease
management, and helping them to assume
responsibility for their health.
VISION
CMFHC will provide comprehensive, dependable
health services on a regular basis to those who come to us in need of care by:
-
Providing comprehensive health care services to
men, women, and children in a spiritually-friendly environment which exemplifies
and honors Jesus Christ.
-
Addressing the physical, emotional and
faith-related needs including Christian counseling
-
Educating patients regarding good health and
disease prevention.
-
Assuring all that they are loved by God and deserve to be
treated with dignity and respect.
-
Making patients feel invested in the clinic and that the
inability to pay should not prevent anyone from receiving quality health care.
-
Providing an environment that encourages
volunteers and staff to integrate their Christian worldview into their daily
interactions with others .
-
Demonstrating that God is actively directing
all that we do and that there is a general and specific purpose for our lives.

|
The CMFHC is committed to providing affordable
primary care and women's health services to underserved individuals and families
with a focus on the faith-based issues underlying much of the disease and
despair in today's world.
The CMFHC distinguishes itself from other free clinics and
health care facilities in Hartford through not only excellent medical care but
also through spiritual care of both its patients and its staff.
|
At this time the CMFHC does not have eligibility guidelines
and we trust that only those who need our services come to the clinic. However
in the future we will be establishing eligibility guidelines.
CMFHC is currently a free clinic and we are
committed going forward to remain a clinic where cost is not prohibitive to any
recipient. |
