As
the CMF Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer, it has been exciting to watch
the growth of our organization. God has
been expanding our ministry through
medical mission outreach projects, and
it has been a joy to see the strength
and unity brought back to our group by
team members, as well as, the personal
and spiritual growth of individuals.
The physical and spiritual healing
outcomes over the years have been
dramatic and wonderful. I have witnessed
the incredible spiritual growth of
others and have been blessed to fully
experience the love of God as He
accomplishes His work through us.
If you are considering joining our
mission team, I can assure you, it will
be a life changing experience. The
purpose of these trips is not because
you need a vacation, want to meet
friends, or need to feel good. All
of these things do happen, but our
mission is to serve the Lord by
providing physical and spiritual healing
to His children and that is where our
focus should be.
There are inherent dangers on a trip
like this and you must be certain that
you are “called” to join us. If
you follow procedures and guidelines
and take the necessary precautions, we
can trust our care to the Lord.
My call to
lead
this organization comes from my sense of
commitment and obedience to the Lord.
I will do my best to be available to
provide guidance and to support you in
any way that I can.
Many people inquire about the dangers
and why I take and lead trips like
these. The verse the Lord has given me
in response to this question is: “And
now, behold, bound in spirit, I am on my
way to Jerusalem (Nigeria, Haiti, or
Siberia), not knowing what will happen
to me there, except that the Holy Spirit
solemnly testifies to me in every city,
saying that bonds and afflictions await
me. But I do not consider my life
of any account as dear to myself, so
that I may finish my course and the
ministry which I received from the Lord
Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel
of the grace of God.” (Acts 20:22-24)
So, if you still want to join the team,
are ready to work hard, be flexible, and
to expect anything. We have a
mighty work ahead of us, but our God is
an Awesome God., and chances are that
you will be blessed immeasurably as you
witness His hand at work through the
team.
I thank God for the willingness and
courage of those called to serve and for
the blessings they throughout the world.
